Michael (Mike) Racey
Interim Senior Pastor
Mike was called by the church to serve as the Interim Senior Pastor in October of 2011. Mike and his wife Annette served as IMB missionaries for almost 27 years in a variety of roles including: church planting, discipleship ministries, theological education, mentoring and women's ministries. They served in southern Chile for most of that time, but also served in Uruguay and Costa Rica. Mike graduated from William Carey University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. They have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren. Email
Dr. Ashley Austin
Associate Pastor-Education
Ashley took the position of Associate Pastor of Education after having been FBC Biloxi Student Minister from 1999-2004. He is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Sports Administration and Business, and of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary with a M.A. in Christian Education. He and his wife April have three boys, Max, Mitchell, and Andrew. Email
Peggy Brock
Director of Preschool and Children's Ministry
Peggy Brock was called to First Baptist Church in 1977 as the preschool minister. Later she became Children's Minister (birth-sixth grade). She is originally from Kentucky. She is married to Jack Brock, an educator and they have one child. Peggy has a BS in Elementary Education from Campbellsville University and a Master's of Religious Education from New Orleans Theological Seminary. Email

Associate Pastor - Singles and Senior Adults
Pastoral Counselor/Director of Counseling Ministries
James joined the ministerial staff at First Baptist full-time in 1993. Through the years, various ministries have been added. He now works with the ministries listed above as well as the Deaf Ministry, Telephone Ministry, and Building Security during worship services. James has a Bachelor of Science from William Carey College and a Master of Divinity in Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a member of the American Counselors Association, American Association of Christian Counselors and a certified Therapon Institute Counselor. He is married to his wife of 17 years, Cheryl Haynes. Jason Duran
Associate Pastor - Students
Jason was called to the Associate Pastor of Students in 2009. He is originally from Columbus, Mississippi. He is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity. He and his wife Susan have two girls, Mackenzye and Katie. Email
Matt Diehl
Interim Associate Pastor, Music and Worship
Matt was called to be the Interim Associate Pastor, Music and Worship in 2011. Matt is originally from Gainesville, Florida and is currently finishing his undergraduate degree in Church Music at William Carey University. He will pursue his graduate studies at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Email
Frank Raises
Church Administrator/Director of Facilities
Frank joined the staff of FBC Biloxi in the Spring of 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1982, graduating with highest honors. He was then commissioned into the United States Air Force. After leaving military service in 1995, Frank has served in a wide variety of positions including as a Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor. In 1986 he married Phyllis Davis and they have two children and two grandchildren. His hometown is Jackson, Mississippi. Email
