local missions

7 Nights of Hope for the Gulf Coast in the summer of 2012...
Wednesday nights, June 6, 13, 20, 27, July 11, 18, 25
6 - 8 p.m. mission projects throughout our city

Where is the hope...
Every morning there are people in our community that face a new day without hope, without direction, and without meaning.  There are children in our city that step on a school bus, walk the halls of their school, or play at the park that don't understand that there is God who loves them greatly!  There are teenagers that are trying to make sense of what really matters in life.  There are young adults growing exhausted from pursing so many things in life that have so little value.  There are singles and seniors who are wrestling with loneliness and possibly despair, wondering if anyone cares or has the answers to life's most difficult questions.

The remedy for our city...
His Name is Jesus Christ.  He came to preach good news to the poor, to bind up the broken hearted, and to proclaim liberty to the captives.  The Son of God came so that the people in our community might have life!  The Savior came to rescue and redeem!  He came to save that which is lost!  Jesus is the solution!  He is the cure for the lifeless, hopeless, meaningless, people we encounter each day!

The church is God's plan to carry out the mission...
For this reason, we are shifting our focus to serve the people of our community on Wednesdays nights this summer.  Would you and your family join the cause of bringing hope to others?
